Neighborhood Day is coming up this Saturday May 15th. Many neighborhoods in Arlington will be hosting special celebrations, yard sales, fitness runs, clean-up events or get togethers. In the Bluemont neighborhood, the US Army Military District of Washington will be performing its Twilight Tattoo in Bluemont Park at 6 PM. Click here for more information. 2010 Walk for the Animals
Bluemont Park will be the site of the Animal Welfare League of Arlington’s 15th Annual Walk for the Animals to help homeless animals in our community. Join in for a one mile stroll or the three mile loop. Dogs may accompany their owners but for their safety, cats and other pets should be left at home. Registration begins at 8:30 and the walk kicks off at 9:30. Click here for more information.
